Wayne Wilcox

Wayne is the CEO of the Montana Hunting Company and MHC’s licensed Outfitter. A Montana native, he has spent his entire life in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Wayne is also an agent with Premier Land Company where he specializes in selling hunting ranches along with being the owner of Trophy Lands where he manages hunting ranches throughout the state.

Karla Smith is the Executive Manager for Montana Hunting Company. She is a third generation Montanan and a graduate of Montana State University. Karla has excellent communication and customer service skills and is able to understand the needs and concerns of clients. She and her husband have an active, young family.

Curt Wilcox

Curt Wilcox, Operational Manager and guide for MHC, is a life long Montanan. Growing up in Montana instilled in him a passion for the outdoors, the land, and the animals that inhabit it. He attended Montana State University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Fish and Wildlife Management.

Curt started guiding in the fall of 2011 and joined MHC in 2021. Along with his duties at the Montana Hunting Company, Curt is a licensed real estate agent with Premier Land Company where he focuses on selling recreational/hunting properties.

Jim Doran, General Manager and Guide, is a professional hunter/outdoorsman with over 40 years experience. He hunted Africa nine times and harvested the Big 5. Jim has been on 96 different sheep hunts around the world. He has also done 50+ Alaska brown bear hunts and over 300 bull elk hunts. He still enjoys hunting and guiding to this day.

Rob Arnaud, acting advisor and former President and Outfitter for Montana Hunting Company, is a fourth generation Montanan who grew up in Manhattan, Montana. He earned an animal science degree from Montana State University in 1980 and became a private land manager for many years prior to starting Arnaud Outfitting, which became Montana Hunting Company with partner Jim Doran. Rob has incorporated wildlife management principals into properties leased by Montana Hunting Company. He's past president of Montana Outfitters and Guides Association and currently is on the MT Board of Outfitters. Besides being a professional guide and outfitter, Rob takes as many personal hunts as he can!

Katie Wilcox

Katie Wilcox is the Hospitality Coordinator for the Montana Hunting Company. Katie is in charge of organizing all lodging and probably one of the most important faucets of MHC’s excellent services…… EATING! Katie is a graduate of Montana State University and is life long Montanan. Katie’s love for cooking resinates to all our camps as we know how important good meals are for our clients.
